At B&B Dynamic Machining, we manufactured CNC turning and milling weldments for our client who came from the industrial pumps market. This project allowed us to showcase all of our processes to the customer, allowing them to see our full capabilities including welding, finish milling, rough and finish turning. We utilized skilled welders and machine operators who have extensive experience with CMM, CNC mills and lathes.
The request was for 20 to 30 pieces that were made from hot rolled steel, had 32 Ra finish and met general standards. Overall part dimensions were 5 inches OD and 8 inches height with ±0.0005 inch of tolerance. The customer chose us for this job as we were the only company in close proximity that could meet their quick turnaround requirements. We delivered the weldments at their Ohio location within 4 weeks.
The customer was very happy with how we kept them in the loop by providing more than enough details about the project. This helped us stand out among the other CNC mill welders that they had worked with before.
